In the new stage of patrolling the roads of Lviv Oblast, an unexpected alliance appears - scientist and law enforcement officer Lyubomyr Sopilnyk decided to investigate the impact of magnetic storms on road safety. The head of the Scientific Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Ukraine in the Lviv region proved that these natural phenomena can significantly increase the risk of traffic accidents. According to the results of his research, it was found that during magnetic storms there is an increase in the reaction time of drivers, changes in temperature and an increase or decrease in cranial pressure. Based on his research, Sopilnyk developed warning signs that can reduce the risk of accidents during magnetic storms.
